This is a bike designed to be playful on the trails with agile handling and progressive suspension. The alu frame offers durability that pairs perfectly with the RockShox Pike RC fork and RockShox Deluxe RT shock to ensure the Spectral AL has the sensitive suspension for the traction you need to stay in control. The Shimano XT 2x drivetrain with the 11-42 cassette will give you the gearing to plow through a rock garden without losing momentum. The DT Swiss M 1900 Spline wheels have 30 mm wide rims that will work amazingly well with Maxxis Minion DHF 2.6 tires on the front and Maxxis Rekon+ 2.6 on the rear. The wheels and rubber combine to give you serious grip on technical runs. The steeper the trails, the happier you’ll be to have a Kind Shock Lev Si dropper post so you can get low and stay in control. The Spectral has also received some sweet new design tweaks like an integrated seat clamp, a quick release through axle that doesn’t need a lever or tools, and a cable routing channel under the down tube that will make it easy to service the cables while still protecting them from gunk and mud. Combining its playful geometry with 27.5 inch wheels and grippy 2.6 inch tires will shoot up the fun factor of the Spectral AL 5.0.
